Mark’s Church:
The vision of National Community Church is to meet in movie theaters at metro stops throughout the metro DC area. National Community Church is one church with nine services in five locations: Union Station, Ballston Common Mall, Ebenezers Coffeehouse and Georgetown. At these locations, NCC uses video technology for the message portion of certain services. Most services have a live speaker which ensures that everyone hears the same message and each location has a unique environment and community. NCC is focused on reaching emerging generations. Nearly 70% of NCCers are single twenty-somethings.
National Community Church was recognized as one of the 25 Most Innovative Churches in America by Outreach Magazine in 2008. NCC also owns and operates the largest coffeehouse on Capitol Hill. In 2008, Ebenezers was recognized as the best coffeehouse in the metro area of D.C. by AOL CityGuide.
