Student Interview
Let's hear from the people most affected by this project: Radiant’s youth!
Aaron
...this project will make Radiant history.
Aaron, it seems like you’ve been at Radiant forever! How long has it been?
Nine years! I can definitely say that this project will make Radiant history. For us to finally have a place for youth—especially a building. It will be awesome to walk in and not have to set up and tear down all the equipment weekly, too.
What’s it like to have service across the street right now?
Well, it doesn’t feel like we’re at “home”—doesn’t feel like we’re really a part of the church—we’re just the “youth group”. I can’t wait to be on Radiant’s campus—in our own building.
What do you think would help teens?
Teens are looking for somewhere to just hang out—it would be awesome if that hangout place could be a church where they’d learn about God too. Right now, it’s really hard to find somewhere to go. It will be amazing to be able to come here after school, instead of going to parties, or being bored at home. And I think this is a place that parents will accept as an after school hang-out. It will be good to always have a place to go, and a person to talk to.
Thanks to the all students for sharing theirr thoughts about Radiant Student Ministries’ new venue!
