This is our chance to do something amazing for our students!
I could not be more excited about what’s in store for us! We have been presented with an amazing opportunity — an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our youth. Do you know that for Radiant’s 10 years, our junior and senior high students have never had a place of their own? They have shared spaces, adjusted times, moved dates, and re-defined the word “flexible” just so they could continue to meet weekly!
My family includes two wonderful teenagers so Sandy and I understand the importance of this project! Teens truly do need their own place — a place where they can develop a sense of ownership and belonging in a group setting.
We now have an opportunity to give them their own place — and reach our community’s students at the same time! We’re excited to “Flip This House” and turn an existing building on campus into a youth center. “The Garage” will be a place our teens can come any day of the week — not just on weekends. It will be a place they’ll be excited to show off to their friends. A place they’ll take daily and weekly steps to deepen their walks with God.
