Membership
The first step to becoming a member of the Radiant Church Family is to attend Class 101 – “Discovering Membership.” In this class, membership is discussed in detail and your questions will be answered!
requirements
1. Be at least 16 years old.
2. Commit your life to Jesus Christ.
3. Be baptized by immersion.
4. Complete Class 101 – Discovering Membership.
5. Commit to support Radiant financially.
6. Accept Radiant’s Statements of Faith.
7. Attend Radiant regularly for three months prior to application.
8. Agree to the Constitution and Bylaws of Radiant.
responsibilities of membership
1. Support the pastors and vision of the church.
2. Regularly support the church financially through tithing (10% of income).
3. Attend church services regularly.
4. Attend regular and special members’ meetings and vote.
5. Support the church by serving in a ministry!
class 101 – discovering membership
We’ll explore the fundamental beliefs of Radiant and what it means to be a member. This class must be taken before becoming a member or volunteering at Radiant.
class 201 – discovering spiritual maturity
We’ll learn about the spiritual tools we need to cultivate a relationship with Jesus!
class 301 – discovering my ministry
You’ll do an analysis of your S.H.A.P.E. (Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, Experiences) that will help you determine your talents.
class 401 – discovering my life mission
All previous classes culminate in this last class, where we look at what it takes to live out God’s calling in our lives!
Church Chat
If you are new to Radiant Church, Pastor Lee and his wife Sandy invite you to a “Church Chat” reception especially for you! This informal get together is a great opportunity to get to know one another over a few light snacks. You will also have the change to chat with other pastors and staff, and ask any questions you’ve had on your mind! Childcare will be provided, and the next date set for Church Chat will be announced soon!
